The Christian church has changed. We try to make the congregation comfortable to keep our numbers up. In that we loose sight of the ministry of Christ Jesus. His truth, His power, and the strength of His message. Preachers have taught us God is love. Just accept Christ and go to heaven and get a mansion walking on streets of gold. So go pray to him for your finances. Pray to him to heal your wounds. Pray to him for your children. Pray to pass a school test. Yet give Him nothing but hollow praise by singing along with the radio.
Today's Christians are no more than another social group on MySpace. And these self professing Christians have lost the first fire God placed upon the Apostils. Those 12 bold men who changed the entire world leaving everything behind, suffering horribly, being hated, scorned, hunted and killed. Now here we are letting it all fall apart to build friendship based on a false god that don't send Christians to hell. To everyone God has become nothing more than a fictional spirit that they play beggar to. It's everywhere, being taught to everyone and it has to stop. We have to show and be shown who God truly is and give Him the glory He so richly deserves. Joy will come and Love will come but first we have to put Glory were it is due. We must let people know that His anger will fall upon those who deny and deny others. When His judgment comes we will all fall and shake in uncontrollable fear as the Father bares our souls. We will have to answer not for what we did but why we did it. What was our motivation?
It's not because of fear we should love, honor, and give glory to God...it's because HE IS WORTHY!
I walk into church and I see people comfortable in their sins. I don't know what it is but I can feel it there. The heaviness of peoples souls it shows in their eyes and I can hear it in their voice. We try to make people comfortable so we put the conviction back into the closet. We bring out the pastel paintings of Jesus holding babies and put Hell into unbroken bindings of folklore. People have no concept of who God really is, who Jesus really is, who the Holy Spirit really is. And our children, we feed them Bible stories and not Bible truths. We have taken the faith of a child and replaced it with cartoon vegetables. We need a drastic change in the church, in all churches. We as the body must change before we can be the hands. A sinner who sits every Sunday in the pews might well sit in front of the TV if he never is told how to be as Christ.
I challenge you to change that. Whiten the veil of the bride of Christ! Change Christianity back to the way God intended it to be! If I get nothing but my name called by my Creator it will be more than I ever will deserve. It's not the reward- it's the service for the King of Kings! Ignite your soul with the fires that danced over the heads of the Apostles. Bear the boldness of those 12 men the turn the world upside down! Do not be afraid because when the time comes Christ will know your name!

You are so right. Its unfortunate how many of us have this veil over our faces and don’t see the world for
what it is…. one big “Matrix” of things we think will make our lives fuller yet it doesn’t. The Neos who are supposed to be waking us up are more interested in keeping the
pews full instead of tellimg the hard truth. Of course we are to blame too because we are ALL called to preach the
word thereby awakaning our fellow brothers and sisters.
